| 1926 | Former organization, Iwata Seisakusho, established. |

| 1963 | Received JIS authorization to manufacture small-sized reciprocating air compressors for the first time in the industry. |
| 1969 | Started manufacture and sales of two-stage, air-cooled, medium-sized air compressors for the first time in Japan. |
| 1970 | Listed its stock on the second section of The Osaka Stock Exchange. |
| 1971 | Started manufacture and sales of electrostatic painting equipment. |

Message from the president
ANEST IWATA Corporation is a manufacturer specializing in painting equipment, painting systems, air compressors and vacuum pumps.
Our aim is to satisfy the most advanced needs of customers worldwide through the production of innovative and state-of-the-art products.
Since the severe economic conditions of the last decade of the 20th century, we have gone through a rapid change towards an ever more environmentally-friendly and unique corporate culture with clear corporate vision.
Our next new challenge will be to adapt to a rapidly changing world economy.
We are making it a fundamental policy to base all our behavior and intentions on our standard of “The Customer comes first above everything else” in all aspects of our operations including product development, production, sales and service which, as our corporate motto indicates, we provide with a “Sincere heart”.
We aim at business expansion and development for the next leap forward while maintaining profitability. To do so, we will give first priority to more difficult management objectives, set clear deadlines, and speed up their implementation.
We will observe social responsibility, become more transparent in our operations, pay attention to management quality and the social environment, and foster independent-minded people internally.
The Air Compressor Business Unit aims at comprehensive system engineering regarding compressed air (air energy), the Painting Equipment & Systems Business Unit aims at comprehensive consultancy regarding painting and application, and the Vacuum Pump Business Unit aims at expanding our efforts toward vacuum systems business. On the whole, all of our business units are aggressively seeking new business.
All directors and employees agree with one another that management means actual execution, and that we must achieve the target with satisfactory results, generate a bright future, and reliably meet the expectations of our customers.
